THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT

Don’t believe the lie of the deceiver who whispers: “Sure, everybody knows the 23rd Psalm. I’m sure you can recite it by heart, right? That’s important.”

God’s Truth: Psalm 23: 1-2

Prayer: Lord, I hear you ask me whether I am living the first two verses of the 23rd Psalm. Do I want for something? Are the ‘pastures’ green for me right now? Do I feel like the waters are quiet or do I feel like I am in the frenzy of the ‘rapids’? Come Holy Spirit, come, that I may know Your Shepherding Love, the absence of want, the leading beside Your Quiet Waters.

Journal Questions:

1) What am I complaining about today? Am I honoring my God with my thoughts and words?

2) How will I express my faith no matter what I am doing today?

Reread: Psalm 23: 1-2

Action Accountability:

1) With You, Lord, I do not need to be in want. You are All I need. Therefore, I will _____________today.

2) You will lead me beside still waters if I allow You, Lord. This day I choose to ___________in expressing my faith.

Closing Prayer: I will fear no evil because You are with me. Thank You, Precious Jesus.
