SHALL WORK BE FAVOR OF THE LORD?

Don’t believe the lie of the deceiver who whispers: ‘Hey, do the work you have to do. Then come play on my playground.”

God’s Truth: Psalm 90: 17

Prayer: Lord, sometimes I work and know You are there in the midst. Other times, I am grudgingly working and know I do not have the ‘right attitude’. Sometimes I have fun and know You like to ‘play’ too. Other times, I wonder if I am being a good steward of my time. Help me, Lord, to know the difference. I want to honor You.

Journal Questions:

1) What ‘work’ will I do today?

2) Will it be unto the Lord?

Reread: Psalm 90: 17

Action Accountability:

1) Lord, I ask Your Holy Spirit to be in the midst as I work at ________today.

2) My work will have ‘worth’ as unto the Lord because ____________.

Closing Prayer: “May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us; establish the work of our hands for us – yes, establish the work of our hands.”

Possible Activity for the day: a few jumping jacks

Possible Attitude for the day: I choose to work as a good steward of my time and talents.
